Muthumalai Karuppasamy is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Nanoscience and Technology at Bharathiar University, India. Currently, she is working as a research student in the Sofer group. Her research focuses on designing, fabricating, and optimizing gas sensors for various applications, including environmental monitoring, industrial safety, and healthcare. With her vast experience in 2D TMDs and chemiresistive gas sensing, she is developing all-2D e-nose sensor for continuous health monitoring. In addition to the gas sensor, she possesses good experience in the field of supercapacitors and electrochemical sensors.
