Vlastimil Mazánek received his Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry at the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague (Czech Republic) in 2018. During his Ph.D. studies, he had an internship at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is currently an Assistant professor at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry. The focus of his research is on electrochemical properties of 2D nanomaterials including sensing, catalytic and energy storage applications. He has published more than 37 papers which received more than 750 citations and his h-index is 15.
