Fedor Lipilin graduated with honors from the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) in Moscow, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Materials Technology. His Bachelor’s thesis focused on the project ‘Influence of Thermal Treatment on the Morphology and Composition of Ge Nanowires.’ He then enrolled in the Chemistry and Material Technology Master’s programme at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. He later joined the Sofer group to research layered dielectric materials for field-transistor applications. After completing his master’s degree, he entered the Chemistry doctoral programme to investigate novel materials for 2D-based electronic and optoelectronic devices.
