Sana Akir, Ph.D. (CHEMFELLS IV stipend)
Sana Akir obtained master and Ph.D. degree at University of Carthage-Tunis. Currently she is post-doc with CHEMFELLS IV stipend in prof. Sofer research group. My research interests involved the synthesis with green chemistry, characterizations and surface modification of Nps of ZnO and their photocatalytic application. During my graduate careers, I spent internships in abroad and I had a teaching experience of about one year for undergraduate students in inorganic Chemistry at Faculty of Science Bizerte-Tunisia. I collaborated and co-authored several conferences and international papers with researchers in different areas of chemistry and physics. Currently she focuses on photocatalysis research and organic pollutant degradation.
